Our Story
For more than 15 years, I wore an eyewear retainer almost every day.
Not because I loved the ones that existed.
Because I loved what they did.
They kept my essentials close, simplified everyday life, and quietly solved a problem I dealt with constantly.
Yet every time I needed a new one, I ran into the same problem.
They were surprisingly hard to find.
And when I did find one, it was almost always the same story.
Cheap materials.
Outdated designs.
Bulky cords.
Attachments that slipped.
A product people wore for function, never for style.
I refused to believe something so useful had to look that way.
So I created A5. My initial, paired with the five essentials I never leave home without: sunglasses, earbuds, a necklace, a cap, and a wallet.
Not simply to redesign the eyewear retainer.
But to rethink it entirely.
To create something people would choose because it looked beautiful...
...and keep wearing because it naturally became part of their everyday life.
Today, every A5 product is designed around the same philosophy:
Because we believe the best everyday objects don't ask for attention.
They quietly earn their place.
Beautiful enough to wear with confidence.
Useful enough that you won't want to leave home without them.
